Michael Platt - As a Senior Director in Microsoft Digital, Michael Platt architects, designs, develops and codes leading edge and innovative Blockchain systems which showcase Microsoft Platforms, Technologies and Services. He works with a number of forward-thinking consortiums, startups and technology providers to build production level solutions in areas such as automotive, finance, heath, government, utilities industry using Quorum, Hyperledger and Corda Blockchains
Michael has more than 40 years’ experience in the computer industry. His background includes experience in technical presales, consultancy, research and development, manufacturing, testing, and assurance in a wide variety of senior, leadership, and management roles in both the field and product development. A 25 year Microsoft veteran, Michael has worked in a broad range of technical positions in the U.S. and the U.K. Before Michael joined Microsoft he worked at IBM UK Laboratories Ltd for more than 20 years.
Michael is involved in a wide range of strategic projects with a number of consortiums, members and partners. He is interested in providing production level blockchain systems using Open Source Governance, Policy, Devops, service mesh, micro service, orchestration and containerization technologies.
