A session aimed at people with no coding knowledge or experience. The session introduces the simple Scratch coding environment and explains how to code using simple drag and drop blocks. Basic coding concepts are introduced and fun practical excercises (including the use of the Code-a-Pillars teach the process of solving real life problems with code before the widely used high level Python language is introduced.
Attendees will be able to continue their coding journey after the session if they sign up for the online accounts (Scratch and Trinket).
