Description changed:
Come along for an exciting, dynamic and inspiring entrepreneurial event where you can network and have a drink with like-minded Entrepreneurs and Startup Founders from around the world.
Michael Clouser (aka "Spaghetti") will be our guest speaker. Michael is making a special guest appearance from the other side of the pond and will be delivering a short talk on building startup teams and early stage strategies for them. Michael was formerly a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley, Lecturer of Technology Entrepreneurship in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh where he taught the infamous Informatics Entrepreneurship that produced more than a few startups. Michael is an entrepreneur himself and loves all things startup. His first real venture was an online hospitality company in the early days of the internet circa 1994, which exited to a large player in 1996. Michael then went on to CEO Student Agencies Incorporated, which is affiliated with Cornell University. Under his guidance, the organization incubated student-led startups such as CourseInfo (Blackboard) and The Globe went that went through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and Jump! that was sold to Microsoft. A power networker, Michael has connective hubs in Silicon Valley, New York City, Austin, Seattle, Orlando, Ithaca, Chicago and Pittsburgh in the USA, as well as Victoria and Vancouver, BC in Canada; Shanghai, Beijing in China; Edinburgh,Glasgow and London in the UK. He earned the BS and MBA from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and Johnson Graduate School of Management, and worked the MSc/PhD (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) at the University of Edinburgh's Business School.

Please avoid getting really pissed, breaking stuff, throwing things at the speaker. No doing tequila shots behind the organizers' backs without inviting them for one as well. Also, other behaviors not tolerated including sneezing loudly, razzing the speaker by making fun of his North American - recently acquired Canadian accent, insulting his lack of fashion sense, reminding him that he's getting old, and talking about the sad state of politics in the USA (or Scotland or the UK fpr that matter). Keep it happy, people.
