Scotland Data Science & Technology MeetUp: Aberdeen Meetup

The Data Lab are planning a data science & blockchain technology meetup event in Aberdeen.

Speakers confirmed:
Peter Ferry, Wallet Services – Blockchain platform

“Peter built Microsoft's business in Scotland as co-founder of its Scottish operation. He's established global partner business programs and led influential tech communities. Now as co-founder of Wallet.Services he’s building a global business to enable economic and social upside with BlockChain technology.

BlockChain is a distributed ledger technology which provides a tamper-proof record of transactions, so is a secure and efficient way of connecting citizens, government and business.”

Maribel Ayala, Founder of Kippitech.

She is an Aberdeen and Glasgow University alumni.

She was a Product and Platforms Manager at Barclays and also Head of Digital Sales and Service for Barclaycard in Spain. She has experience working in the field of Learning Technologies and the Energy business.

Maribel is the founder of Kippitech, an Aberdeen-based start up that come out of Elevator. Kippitech uses blockchain as a foundation technology to leverage supply chain data.
