Data is now permeating businesses like never before. That proliferation means that there are more people specialising in using data within organisations, more companies selling data-related services and more types of data to be assessed and utilised commercially. The knock on from that is that there becomes a wide spectrum in the nature, application and impact that data can have on a business. We have spent many years marketing and selling data-services and its many business applications, and this presentation is a whistle stop tour through our views on the best and worst parts we have seen, and thoughts on improvement and consistency across the industry.
