Social Media Mentoring: In addition, we are looking to provide social media mentoring support as a follow up to the training session. This is offered to those who think that they may benefit from mentoring from a business employee with social media experience to help embed the learning from these sessions and offer an external sounding board and guidance.

The mentors will be volunteering their time to offer support and typically focussed mentor relationships like this would involve a monthly meeting of about an hour for up to 6 months where you as the mentee would prepare an agenda of issues you wanted to discuss, and use the time to identify and prioritise you actions for the next month.

If you would like to be considered for a mentor, please email sbt@vas.org.uk to request an application form and more details. Sheffield Business Together will then seek mentors from our network of businesses. Please note that unfortunately we cannot guarantee a mentor as this will be entirely dependent on the number of applications we receive and the number of business employees that are available to volunteer.
