The Future of Work in Scotland: Unleash the Resiliator within - Karen Ferris

We need to stop talking about resistance to change and start building resilience in the face of constant change.
In a world where the speed and volatility of change is ever increasing, we need to build a resilient workforce. This presentation is for everyone at all levels of the organisation who need to maintain a healthy mind and body when change is volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA).

The World Health Organisation has now included “ burnout in the workplace” on the International Classification of Diseases - ICD-11 QD85
It is time to Unleash The Resiliator!

Resiliators take charge, self-manage, lead, inspire and motivate. They innovate, create and experiment. They operate in an environment of collaboration and cooperation. These are all competencies individuals need today if they are to thrive in the face of constant change and disruption, let alone survive.

Come along to this presentation and meet The Observer, The Realistic Optimist, The Regulator, The Reframer, The Adapter and others. These are all superpowers that The Resiliator possesses and that every individual can possess to be resilient in the face of constant change.
Resilience benefits include healthy mind and body, decreased stress, the ability to bounce ‘forward’ after set backs, confidence, stability in the face of a crisis, reduced burn-out and life perceived as a series of challenges rather than problems.

Resilience can be learnt and it is not a trait you do or do not have. This presentation will show you how.
