Sheffield Raspberry Jam

Come along and join us for the third Raspberry Jam in the Diamond. We welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced Raspberry Pi users.

If you're a beginner, come along and find out what a Raspberry Pi is, and try one out.

If you're more than a beginner, you can:


Bring along a project to work on and/or demonstrate to others

Talk to others to develop your knowledge further, or explore new ideas

Help out the beginners!


We've got 20 full sets of Raspberry Pi/monitor/keyboard/mouse, and a further 10 sets of just monitor/keyboard/mouse (for those who want to bring along their own Raspberry Pi). We've also got some kits that allow you to try out some simple experiments in physical computing (e.g. use a Raspberry Pi to drive some toy traffic lights), plus some books and other material to browse.

Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
