Description changed:
It’s time for the first ProductTank Sheffield of 2020, taking place on Thursday 27th February.
We’re looking to pick up where we left off in 2019, with another chance to network with like-minded people from the Sheffield product community, while listening to a healthy mix of insightful speakers.
As we take ProductTank around the city, we’re pleased to confirm that our upcoming meetup will take place at Aizelwood’s Mill and we’re also thrilled that Qualsys – a Sheffield-based provider of integrated quality management software – will be sponsoring the event.
On top of the great venue and sponsor, we also have three varied talks planned:
Tim Cropper-Williams and Mand Beckett, Product Director and Product Manager at IRIS Software Group respectively, will give us an insight into all the things they’ve learned while changing from instinctive product management to a product-focused business in under a year.
Marianne Brierley, Senior User Researcher and Service Designer at dxw digital in Leeds, is an advocate for “using the right approach, at the right time, for the right purpose”. Marianne will be addressing the ways in which user research can be de-valued, and how you can do something about that.
Matthew Ford, who is currently Product Manager for the Government Gateway service, brings a wealth of experience from across the public sector and will be telling us about his journey into product management, via business analysis.
Please let us know if you’ll be coming along; with high demand for recent events, we want to make sure it’s not over-subscribed.
If you've got any questions about the event, or anything else related to ProductTank Sheffield, feel free to get in touch. You can either send us a message through Meetup.com, or use our Twitter account (@ProdTankSHF). Either way, one of Aden, Rob or Tom will be happy to respond.
