Talk 1 "#ScotWiki and other stories" - Dr Sara Thomas
Sarah, who is Scotland Programme Coordinator at Wikimedia UK, has been in post since April 2018. She was the Wikimedian in Residence at the Scottish Library and Information Council (2017-2018), and at Museums Galleries Scotland (2015 - 2016).
Sara joins us to talk about the work that Wikimedia UK is doing across Scotland, in libraries, education and heritage.

The explosion of activity and interest in AI and machine learning has reached all industry sectors which has meant that the data scientists required to build these solutions are in high demand.
