As we all face both increasing competition for skilled staff and new technology challenges, this debate seeks to share thinking on future skills needs between the digital technologies industry and those involved in academic teaching. Scotland's university computer science base is world class and provides graduates with the building blocks for lifelong careers in the industry ; our industry is growing and needs talented people in ever greater numbers from established businesses to startups.
