Join us for the final Sheffield PHP of the year for an open, informal, discussion on “What’s in-store for PHP and the web in 2020?” alongside our panel of local industry experts.
With 15 years of PHP software development experience under his belt, Clive is working as a consultant for Plusnet at present. He is co-author of two publications released this year - “Getting Mean with MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node” and “Implementing Cloud Design Patterns for AWS”.
Geoff is a highly experienced AWS and PHP contractor who currently calls Good Things Foundation home. He has worked for countless local companies over the past decade as a freelance developer and consultant.
Currently working as a senior PHP developer at one of our sponsors, Evoluted. After graduating from Sheffield University, John has spent 9 years working for many of Sheffield’s well known agencies. As well as web development, he has further interests in architecture, scaling, dev-ops, deployment and security.
After the event we'll head to a local pub for a chat with fellow attendees and a few drinks.
Our event is free to all but we ask that you sign up online so we have an idea of numbers for the venue. We love to hear your feedback and suggestions for future events either on Twitter or through the #SheffieldPHP channel on the Sheffield Digital Slack account.
