Developing bespoke elearning - Workshop

Developing bespoke elearning: How to achieve your goals and maximise ROI

A whistle-stop tour of the technology, skills, processes and potential pitfalls involved in bespoke elearning production. This workshop will equip participants to make informed decisions and sound investments.

Elearning offers huge benefits. As well as cutting delivery and travel costs, it provides convenience, scalability, flexibility and geographical reach.

But if what your organisation does is specialist, or you need very specific material, you may need to invest in developing your own courses.

If your organisation is considering creating bespoke elearning, this workshop will help you understand your options and identify the best way forward for your learners, budget and business model.

Delivered by elearning experts from Sheffield-based Can Studios, this workshop will cover:

- what elearning types might best meet your needs
- what skills, tools and technologies are needed
- how to assess the business case for your specific operation / objectives
- whether to outsource, or complete some (or all) of the project in house
- how much different approaches are likely to cost.

You’ll take away practical templates and checklists to assess if and how custom elearning content can meet your organisation’s training needs.

There’ll also be plenty of time for questions, networking with other participants and discussing any specific queries with the Can Studios team.

FAQs
Who is it for?

This workshop is suitable for anyone who is responsible for planning training within their organisation at a strategic level.

As the event is focussed on fully bespoke elearning (not off the shelf content) it is likely to be most applicable to medium to large organisations, or those who generate revenue from their training.

Do I need any technical knowledge?

No, this will be aimed at the non-technical layperson. You just need to know how your own business operates.

Will it be a sales pitch?

Definitely not. Can Studios is in this for the long haul, not short terms wins. They want people to get the best from elearning. Bespoke elearning isn’t always the best solution – and if some people who attend leave realising that, before they spend time or money unwisely, that’s fine.
