SmartSheffield #14

November's SmartSheffield Meetup focusses on the Future of Mobility!

Moving people and goods around cities is of course a longstanding problem, and a ubiquotiuous aspect of 'smartcity' thinking. Urban design in the 20th century was heavily shaped by new personal and mass transport technologies, along with retail and consumer behaviours. As these driving forces change in the 21st century, how will cities adapt to them and is retrofitting new mobility capabilities even possible?

We're looking forward to thinking and talking about these issues, and will announce our speaker lineup very shortly as well!

If you have something you would like to contribute to the programme, please get in touch!

As always, there will be a meeting of the Sheffield Things Network beforehand at 5pm, please take a look at the TTN Sheffield community page for details, and register for the meeting by choosing the corresponding ticket type when you book for the main SmartSheffield meetup.

Please also note that this meetup will be held at the Electric Works, not Arup as has been the case previously, as we are now alternating between our sponsor venues!
