We will be running our next STEM Ambassador Induction on 14th November from 10-11am at CodeBase Stirling. To be involved please follow these 3 easy steps:

2. Register as a STEM Ambassador at https://www.stem.org.uk/user/register?type=ambassador.

Being a STEM Ambassador is about engaging and enthusing young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. You will help encourage students to consider further study of STEM subjects and progression into related careers, inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals.
It offers the chance to give something back to education and the wider community, whilst giving you the chance to develop your own skills and improve yourself.
ID REQUIREMENTS:
If you already have a PVG certificate (Protection of Vulnerable Groups), or any form of Disclosure ie Basic, standard, enhanced, you must bring this with you.
A note of your National Insurance number.
If you have a Passport (even if expired) its essential you bring this along.
If you have a driving licence you must bring this with you (even if provisional).
If you don’t have a passport or driving licence, please bring your birth certificate.
When completing your PVG Application you need to provide a 5 year address history, knowing full address & post code and month and year resident from at each address. (you don’t need to provide evidence)
At least 2 letters/bills/documents that contain your name and current address- ie bill, bank statement, mobile phone bill, credit card statement, council tax letter, HM Revenue letter, student award ID, tenancy agreement (A photocard driving licence with a current address acts as both photographic ID and address ID).
