The SmartSheffield Meetup returns in September for a new run of events, starting with a focus on initiatives that tackle the city's Air Quality!
SmartSheffield is an open forum for people interested in urban innovation and the use of new technologies and approaches to help to address challenges both big and small. We're very happy to announce new sponsorships with Ove Arup Group, Pitch-In at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Digital and a new run of six events planned for the first Monday every two months, starting on the 2nd September.
For our first meetup back, we'll be looking at current efforts to measure air quality across the city, both institutional and comunity-driven, and what kinds of interventions are being proposed. As always, there will also be a Sheffield Things Network meeting beforehand at 5pm.
The SmartSheffield meetup is a free and inclusive open forum and social meeting space for anyone interested in 'smart cities' and urban innovation, and everyone is welcome.
