Join us for a very special #TechForGood event with speakers from 38 Degrees, Shelter, Euan's Guide & NeateBox. We are co-hosting this event with ProductTank, so there's lots of opportunity for networking, meeting new people and getting inspired!
Our four fantastic speakers are:
Bex Hay is Tech Director at 38 Degrees (https://home.38degrees.org.uk), the UK’s largest campaigning community. Bex leads 38 Degrees’ experienced team of software engineers delivering tech solutions for a community of over 2 million people, campaigning to make the UK a better place.
Conrad Rossouw is the Digital Manager for Shelter Scotland (https://scotland.shelter.org.uk) managing a five person digital team, developing and implementing the charity’s digital strategy and managing their social media channels. Conrad's talk will cover the challenges and learning from introducing chatbots to support their customers.
Euan's Guide (https://www.euansguide.com) is an online tool used by thousands of disabled people to review, share and discover accessible places to go. It was established by Euan and his sister Kiki after Euan was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The site is built by disabled people for disabled people and takes a pan-disability approach – reviews aren’t just for wheelchair users but for all disabled people. Their talk will focus on inclusivity beyond accessibility.
Gavin Neate is CEO of Neatebox (https://www.neatebox.com) which has a focus on finding innovative solutions for the enhancement of independant daily living primarily for those dealing with reduced mobility, but with the sole aim of being part of a movement which believes in a more inclusive society.
