Join us on Wednesday 19 June at 7 pm for a presentation by Amy Shepherd, the Open Rights Group's national Legal and Policy Officer, on the Government' s proposed strategy on online harms - the White Paper, current consultation and ORG's response.
Amy will describe how the White Paper proposals don't explore in any detail how the Government will define the 'harm' that social media causes or how the Government intends to protect freedom of expression.
Come and join a lively discussion with ORG Norwich and other digital activists; socialise; and help plan future activities. You may want to bring your laptop, tablet, etc.
