Combine this with a variety of interests and backgrounds and you have a recipe for a great meetup. So please do come along regardless or your WordPress knowledge!
There is always a social side to the WP Edinburgh meetups, many attendees have found this to be of great benefit & an opportunity to meet others to share & learn on all things WordPress and beyond :)

This month Gordon McLachlan will be joining us to talk to us about 'Why you need luck to run a successful digital agency!' – Life is not a meritocracy and running a successful digital agency is no exception. Find out how luck plays a role in both running a business and navigating our personal lives.
Gordon is the Managing Director and co-founder of Primate. He has over 15 years experience. He's passionate about digital and business transformation. And, indifferent towards monkeys, apparently!

Hi All,
Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances this months speaker Gordon McLachlan has had to pull-out. We will hopefully have him speak at next months event.
In lieu of this one of our organisers Ben Usher Smith will be doing a brief talk instead about "The importance of design and why simple is best!" – Find out what cognitive fluency is, and why it matters.
As well as being a co-organiser Ben runs a small design agency called Usher Smith where he focuses on strategic design. He's spoken at WordCamps in both Edinburgh and Manchester. He is passionate about the environment, service, design and wild swimming.
