This is our monthly informal gathering - just turn up, grab a drink, sit down and start talking UX! If you haven't been before you'll find us on the right as you come in, opposite the bar.
Check out our new discussions board! Feel free to post anything here that you think will be of interest to the group e.g. thoughts/questions related to UX, details of relevant events, local job postings etc.
We're trialling a new venue for this meetup - we've got us our own little space upstairs at The Outhouse, just off the top of Broughton St. (stairs to the right of the bar as you enter the venue).
5.30pm. If you've not been before, come along and say "Hi" and find out what we're all about.
6pm. Arrive, secure drinks, chat.
6.30pm. Group announcements (job opportunities, upcoming events etc.)
6.45pm. Featured talk
7.15pm. Chat around topics suggested by the group
8pm onwards. Anything goes
Our speaker this month will be Duncan Stephen, a user researcher working at the University of Edinburgh. He'll be talking to us about....
