Scottish Blockchain Meetup: Casey Kuhlman - Demonstration of the Monax Platform

This event will be in Edinburgh - Dentsu Aegis Network, Capital House, Edinburgh Office Fourth Floor, 2 Festival Square, Edinburgh EH3 9SU

Demonstration of the Monax Platform

Casey, Monax's CEO, will discuss how they blend an emergent blockchain-network which sits at the intersection of public and permissioned blockchain technology with a software-as-a service platform. The Monax Platform includes some of the most advanced Solidity smart contracts in existence and yet is fully understandable to individuals with only a modest understanding of blockchains and smart contracts technology.

In this Meetup, Casey will provide an overview of how the Monax Platform works and how their customers are utilizing the platform to gain insights into their legal contracts which they've been unable to achieve with prior generations of technology.

Casey Kuhlman is the CEO of Monax a blockchain-based contract management system for small businesses. Prior to co-founding Monax, Casey was the head of legal information systems at the US Open Data Institute. A lawyer and international development practitioner for nearly a decade, Casey has worked extensively in the Horn of Africa, including co-founding the first law firm in Somaliland. Casey has also been a New York Times bestselling author, an infantry officer in the Marines, and is an avid participant in open source software development.
