CodeUp Sheffield September 2018 - National Coding Week

After a short hiatus CodeUp Sheffield is back with a brand new location.

CodeUp Sheffield is a mentoring program for adults who would like to learn how to code for free. Once a month we intend to provide a workspace for people with no programming skills to come and learn the basics, with mentors available to answer your questions and help you on your way. Our sessions will also be suitable for people with basic skills who need support to develop them, and even for people with intermediate or advanced skills who just want to come along to a space where everyone is immersed in code!

Come along and talk to our mentors - they can help if you need some pointers to get started with programming, some advice on a project you're working on, or if you have any other questions about coding or getting your first job in the tech industry.

We're also taking part in National Coding Week - this is the perfect opportunity for you to come and try a new language, or even try coding for the first time. So in addition to your regular meetup, there will be a crash course in setting up your very own website using github pages.

Spaces Acero is home to comfy private offices, coworking space for excellent networking, and meeting rooms with admin support when you need it. Open walkable spaces and casual seating areas cultivate exciting opportunities to collaborate with like-minded professionals located a short walk from Sheffield Train Station. With super-fast, unlimited WiFi, you can work quickly and efficiently, wherever work takes you

Please ensure you bring along your own laptop.
