This seminar will be a timely opportunity to discuss next steps for cyber security in the UK - including key issues around preparedness, international cooperation and how the response is organised.
It takes place following the Attorney General’s recent speech setting out the UK’s position on the application of international law with respect to cyberspace, and is timed as implementation begins of the EU directive on the security of Networks and Information Systems (NIS Directive).
Delegates will discuss latest developments and priorities for key sectors involved in critical national infrastructure and their suppliers, and the wider group of organisations and individuals affected by the threats to cyber security.
Further sessions assess the work of the National Cyber Security Centre, following the recent publication of its report on the cyber threat to UK business, as well as discussing key measures from the Secure by Design review - which outlines plans to build security into the design of internet connected devices.
