Westminster eForum: Priorities for telecommunications infrastructure in the UK - investment models, the regulatory framework and delivering fibre to the home

This seminar will be a timely opportunity to discuss the future of UK telecommunications infrastructure in light of the Government’s Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review.

Delegates will assess key perspectives brought out in response to the Review, with discussion expected to revolve around the best route to ultrafast broadband, what are the optimal market structures and investment models to support delivery, the roles of different providers, and how might the regulatory framework need to develop.

The agenda includes an overview of progress and next steps for the UK’s broadband infrastructure and of responses to the consultation; assessment of the models for investment in UK digital infrastructure; discussion on the framework for regulation to deliver the UK’s broadband infrastructure of the future; and a session on implications for policy.
