18:30 - 18:50 Keith Steele (IOTech/EdgeX)
Keith will present EdgeX Foundry, an open source, vendor-neutral project hosted by The Linux Foundation and supporting a common IoT edge framework enabling an ecosystem of plug-and-play components that aims to unify the IOT Edge marketplace by making it easier for developers to build, deploy, run and scale IoT solutions for industrial, enterprise and consumer applications.
18:50 - 19.10 Michael McDonald / Selby Cary (Mantis)
Michael and Selby of robotics startup, CST, will be speaking about the future integration of consumer robotics and IoT. CST have developed MANTIS, the world’s first autonomous wheel, that has modular and accessible features enabling future IoT access. Currently, CST are using MANTIS to secure perimeters of large sites by providing affordable, reliable and effective robotic surveillance vehicles.
Evangelo will give a non-technical talk about new approaches to scaling throughput of blockchain networks. Gabriele will provide a more technical overview of how blockchain nodes can be integrated with serverless and cloud blockchain solutions.
