AberdeenPHP's 2nd Birthday!

Aberdeen PHP User Group aims to provide a regular meeting for developers in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas to get together and discuss just about anything in and around the PHP Community.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month and run talks or open conversations around a variety of tech topics; with a focus on PHP development but extending to general development practises.

This month we'll be doing a back to basics session running through contributing to using git and contributing to Open Source projects. Since we have a NEW WEBSITE we will be doing some demos using this repo and looking at what we can do to remove the hurdles of modern web development workflows.

Danny Wilson will be taking over the reigns of the PHPNews (will try not to butcher it too much) and Rob Cooper will be doing a run through of how the new site works/how to contribute to it!

Also a big thanks to all who have come along to any of the meetings over the last 2 years; head down and we'll have a slice of cake waiting for you! ;)
