Join us for a workshop led by Quinlan Morake, Senior Developer with MakeitSocial, and learn how to put together a web server in Golang and then how to deploy it!
Bring your laptops and we'll work on various endpoints in groups then we'll bring it all together and walk through some different ways of deploying the server (via local builds, Amazon S3 and Docker).
From the questions and discussions we had at the last meetup we think this will be a really interesting topic for both newbie Gophers to learn and more experienced Gophers to come and show off their skills. So Gophers of all skill levels are welcome!
MakeitSocial will also kindly be providing some pizza and beer to keep us going. Look forward to seeing you all there!
