***** This will be an interactive talk ******
The new EU data protection regulation, GDPR, takes effect in the spring of 2018. The new regulations increase the rights of individuals but also strengthen obligations for companies. Now is the time to learn about how the changing rules may affect your work on the web.
Heather will start by explaining the implications of the upcoming GDPR changes, and how compliance will affect our work on the web and our businesses.
She will then answer or guide us towards finding further information for any issues or quandaries we may have.
You can bring your questions to the event or message Heather beforehand.
