#hellodigital is hosting the ‘Augmented Business Week’, a week long exhibition showcasing Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). From 29 August – 2 September, each day includes seminars focused on particular business sectors plus a hands-on exhibit.
How are these key sectors using Augmented and Virtual Reality? Energy Partnership Scotland will be demonstrating training opportunities with their Immersive Reality experience for Working at Height and a Virtual Welding kit!
Linknode will show how mobile 3D visualisation apps and services with a specialism in the convergence of location, sensors, devices and model data for geospatial augmented reality.
Soluis Group will demonstrate how plans and drawings can be augmented to give those reviewing them a 3D experience using an app on their tablet or smartphone. Collectively we will explore a variety of current applications in the public domain that have shown how AR and VR have been used to improve safety, enhance training, and engage customers.
