edPUG Tuesday 19th July 2016: VIDEO: Doctrine ORM good practices and tricks
It's July, the weather has been a bit on and off, and some of you might be wondering what's happening to the Summer... but I know what you're all really thinking - Doctrine! Doctrine! Doctrine? I wish I knew more good practices and tricks for this well known ORM. Well what are the chances of this? Marco Pivetta recently did a talk at PHP Serbia Conference 2016 on this exact topic!
Doctrine ORM is a complex tool that enables development of very advanced applications, but are you actually using it correctly? What if you have been using the ORM incorrectly or in an inefficient way? We are going to inspect the advantages and disadvantages of various approaches to application design with this Data mapper, and come up with a set of best practices that will be useful for your projects.
Come watch the video with us with beer and PhPizza!
Hope to see you there!
