We are the capital of Scotland’s premier meetup for all things PHP and more. We love talking about all web technologies, including, but not limited to: PHP & JavaScript frameworks / DHTML & AJAX / programming methodologies and design patterns / CMS’s / e-commerce / hosting / scalability / deployment / Relational & Document databases and any other cool web technologies.
edPUG takes place on the third Tuesday of every month. It is free to come along, but we issue electronic tickets via Eventbrite to control the capacity of the venue.
We usually announce full details of the meetup a week in advance. Be sure to not miss out by keeping an eye on https://opentechcalendar.co.uk and http://www.edpug.co.uk/
Be sure to follow us on https://twitter.com/edpug too!
edPUG Tuesday 15th March 2016: edPUG.tv - What is Let's Encrypt?
Description changed:
Like a spring chicken, edPUG has sprung up on us quickly this month!
We'll take a wee break from the excellent in person talks of recent months, and all sit down and watch a topical video together.
Love him or hate him, Edward Snowden has done a lot to raise the profile of security on the web and the importance of encryption.
We're not watching a video about him (we do recommend watching Citizenfour), but instead, will watch "What is Let's Encrypt?", a talk by Jörg Henning given at the Singapore PHP User Group.
As usual drinks and pizza available on the night, hope to see you there!
