Scottish Blockchain Meetup: Scottish Ethereum Meetup #2: Gav Wood, Konstantin Kudryavtsev, James Littlejohn

Hot on the heels of the Ethereum Developers' Workshop in Edinburgh at the end of August, we're happy to announce another Ethereum meetup.

We'll have talks from both Gavin Wood (CTO, Ethereum) and Konstantin Kudryavtsev (Senior Technical Analyst, Ethereum) followed by a demo from meetup regular James Littlejohn on the night.

Doors open from 6pm, with the talks kicking off at 7pm after which the conversation will continue in the pub in the same venue, The Royal Dick.

*More details to follow.

Talks on the night will include:

1. Gavin Wood

2. Konstantin Kudryavtsev

3. James Littlejohn of Dsensor.org ("a better understanding of reality") will present a prototype of 'programmable science' using MPPM's (mapping prediction path methods) an Ethereum's smart contract on the EVM/blockchain. James will also discuss how miners and mappers co-exist.

ETHEREUM

Ethereum is a platform and programming language that makes it possible for any developer to build and publish next-generation decentralized applications. In short: Ethereum is the web, without the web servers.

Ethereum can be used to codify, decentralize, secure and trade just about anything: voting, domain names, financial exchanges, crowdfunding, company governance, contracts and agreements of most kind, intellectual property, and even smart property thanks to hardware integration.

To find out more about Ethereum, please visit or website www.ethereum.org and ask questions on our forums: forum.ethereum.org.
