This month we're talking about all things testing. Writing testable code and the different tools available to make sure it runs consistently. The meeting will be a fairly open discussion so bring in questions/issues/ideas along and we'll do our best to work through things together.
Next months meetup (7th of October @fifthring) is going to be focusing around writing testable code and the various test suites/tools you can use to make sure you're covered when you're pushing to production! No more late nights scrambling around trying to find those elusive bugs.
To start off the session we'll have a short talk from Thomas Dutrion (@tdutrion (https://twitter.com/tdutrion) ) going over the basics of testing and giving an introduction to using Codeception for writing acceptance tests. If you're new to testing this should give you a jump start on some of the (often overwhelming) lingo.
After the talk we'll be opening things up to a group discussion; so feel free to bring along questions or suggestions to share so we can help each other out.
