Dougal Matthews on "The Development of OpenStack" OpenStack is an Open Source Python based infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform. OpenStack manages virtual machines, distributed storage and the network between these services. Since OpenStack was originally released in 2010 it has grown at an astonishing rate. With over two million lines of code and around 1200 individual developers contributing in the last 6 months, this talk will introduce you to
OpenStack, it's development and the challenges and problems found in a project this large.
