Falkirk Linux Users Group Meeting and Talk

We meet every month in the upstairs room of the Star Inn in Grahams Road Falkirk, on the corner of Gowan Avenue from 7:30, where we have a technical talk and general chatting. If you want to learn more stuff, have questions you need answered or fancy an evening out with technical types just come along.

Dougal Matthews on "The Development of OpenStack" OpenStack is an Open Source Python based infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform. OpenStack manages virtual machines, distributed storage and the network between these services. Since OpenStack was originally released in 2010 it has grown at an astonishing rate. With over two million lines of code and around 1200 individual developers contributing in the last 6 months, this talk will introduce you to
OpenStack, it's development and the challenges and problems found in a project this large.
