CodeTheCity: AI in Action: Computer Vision, AI Agents, and Rapid App Development with Generative A" - Eyad Elyan, RGU

Aberdeen Python User Group - open to all

This talk will provide a comprehensive overview of the AI landscape and the latest trending topics, with a focus on real-world applications of computer vision, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector. We’ll then explore Agentic AI, a cutting-edge concept that extends AI beyond automation, enabling more autonomous and intelligent decision-making systems. Through examples, using Python, we’ll illustrate the power and potential of Agentic AI in action. Finally, in a live demo, we’ll showcase how generative AI can be used with just a few prompts to rapidly build and deploy a functional application—highlighting its ability to accelerate development like never before. Whether you're a developer, data scientist, or AI enthusiast, I hope that this session will provide valuable insights and practical takeaways.
