Testing Your Ideas - Design Thinking Workshop
No matter how well you think you’ve solved a problem, users can surprise you! In this workshop, we’ll show you how to create testable prototypes, run effective user tests and gather feedback.
You’ll learn how to maintain a cycle of testing and refining your ideas, ensuring that your solutions are user-friendly and effective.
This workshop will be led by Lauren Tolley, UX Researcher at Hive IT and Martin Waite, Design Director at Hive IT.
This is the first workshop of our three-part series. All of the workshops have been designed to be engaging, hands-on and packed with practical insights that you can start using right away. You can attend one, two or all three sessions - whatever works best for you!

These workshops are designed to be inclusive and for everyone, whether you’re a designer, researcher, product manager, business owner or simply curious about Design Thinking. We welcome anyone interested in improving their approach to user-centered design and problem-solving.
What to expect
The session will take place on Zoom and you will:
How to create something testable - prototypes can take many forms
How to test them with users and observe how they interact with it them
Methods of gathering feedback, identifying and prioritising problems to make necessary improvements
Maintaining a cycle of testing and refining - this is crucial for developing successful projects and services over time
