With more and more focus on reaching the UK's Net Zero targets, connectivity is coming into focus in the minds of local authorities. Connectivity and sustainability come hand in hand, as better connectivity means more avenues for data collection and access, which in turn allows more granular and optimal control of energy use.

With almost every city having set their own NetZero targets and employing more connected technologies in attempts to meet them, the groundwork for smarter cities across the UK is well underway. Cities across the UK have begun building bigger and stronger ecosystems to support new, innovative technologies.
