Lean Coffee, Lightning Talks and Liberating Structures (in person)
Description changed:
This meet-up will be Lean Agile Edinburgh’s last meet-up of the year and for a change we are going to make this one a real life, in person event!
We’ve booked a good sized function room in the Outhouse in Broughton street, which is very central and is a 10 min walk from Waverley station. We’ll be limiting RSVPs around 60% off the room’s capacity to ensure that there is plenty space for everyone. Please can you ensure that you keep your RSVP up to date, as we have a limited number of spaces
The evening will be fairly informal and a chance for everyone to discuss any Lean/Agile topics or questions that are on your mind and/or share knowledge with fellow Lean Agile Edinburgh members. We’d love to see you there and you are very welcome regardless of your experience with Agile - from complete newbie to seasoned Agilist :-)
The Agenda for the evening will be roughly as follows:
6.45-7.00 - Arrival
7.00-7.15 - Introduction, welcome and shout outs
7.15-7.45 - Lean Coffee in small groups (*)
7.45-8.00 - BREAK
8.00-8.30 - Lightning talks and/or a Liberating Structure (**)
8.30 - Depart, or stay for a drink and a chat
(*) If you’ve not heard of Lean Coffee before it involves writing down your discussion topics / questions on postits, voting for the ones that interest you the most, then discussing the topics in a small group based on the votes for 5 minute intervals. It’s a great way to learn new things and meet people!
(**) We hope to have a couple of lightning talks - if you have something to share and would like to do a 5-10 min lightning talk, please get in touch with us. If we don’t have any talks organised we’ll do a liberating structure instead. You can read more about these at LiberatingStructures.com

This is our first in person event since the pandemic started and because it is mostly interactive it won't be live streamed. Next year we expect to be slowly returning to in person events, which will be live streamed where possible.
VERY IMPORTANT: Only RSVP if you are going to attend this in person event. If you plans change, please update your RSVP to "No" immediately. Please avoid a "no show" or a last minute "no". This will help the organisers and other members immensely - Thank you!
