The Sheffield Innovation Programme Introductory Webinar Events Series aims to introduce Sheffield City Region SMEs to Sheffield Hallam University experts and academics to create funded opportunities for engagement and collaborations to drive businesses forward.
The Department of Computing currently carries out research that can be categorised by four themes of excellence: People and Technology; Information, Systems and Organisations; Intelligent and Autonomous Technologies and the Digital Economy. Under these broad themes, researchers in the Department are active in a number of areas of theoretical and applied computer science and informatics including: Ad-hoc and sensor networks, Robotics, Machine intelligence, Conceptual structures, Visualisation, Games and Virtual Reality, and Cybersecurity & Edge System Protection
This session will be led by academics from Computing.
About Sheffield Innovation Programme
Sheffield Innovation Programme (SIP) is a regional initiative which aims to stimulate business growth and promote the development of long-term relationships with SMEs. This is achieved by providing access to a broad range of academic expertise and university facilities. The support is in the form of bespoke research and innovation-based consultancy, workshops, and other events.
SIP support is available to eligible businesses in the Sheffield City Region and the districts of Bassetlaw, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales & North East Derbyshire.
