This month we are delighted to welcome Gary Birnie, who will be talking to us about applying insights from the world of behavioural science to help us adopt more positive behaviours and habits.
About Gary's talk
Physical inactivity is the 4th leading risk factor for mortality worldwide. In this talk, Gary will give an introduction to applied behavioural insights, including how to complete a behavioural audit and outline interventions to implement new positive behaviours and habits.
About Gary
Gary Birnie is a Lead UX Research & Design Consultant with over 10 years experience of working closely with clients to define, design and develop transformative user experiences. He is a member of the Behavioural Science & Public Health Network and co-founder of Behavioural Insights Scotland (BIS). Gary is also currently undertaking an MSc in Behavioural Science at Stirling University.
