The Future of Work Scotland team are delighted to be bringing you a session with the wonderful Tobias Mayer, author of "The People's Scrum'.
This year life changed, for everyone, suddenly and quite dramatically: home life, community life, social life and work life. At work we’re all doing our best to balance business as usual with ensuing chaos and it’s often a precarious line to walk. More than a porting of methods and practices, knowledge work today, especially the creative aspect (which is most of it!) requires a radical rethink. This is not like that.
This session, more break-out dialog than lecture, will explore this workplace reinvention from all participant viewpoints, for example what does it mean to move from being a co-located team to being a dynamically-located team? What is lost, what has been gained?
Learning Objectives:
What can our attendees expect to take away from the session?
● New ways of considering current work practice
● New questions!
● Strength and camaraderie through dialog
Here's some background on our amazing guest speakers for this session:
Tobias Mayer is an explorer of human relationships, writer, mentor, teacher and speaker. He is committed to the liberation of the corporate workplace, and to that end, spends a lot of time thinking, talking and writing on personal responsibility, grassroots initiative and confronting the status quo.
