The Future of Work in Scotland: Lighthouse Thinking - Fin Goulding & Haydn Shaughnessy

The Future of Work Scotland team are delighted to be bringing you a session with Fin Goulding and Haydn Shaughnessy.

We are in the middle of a pandemic and businesses are clamouring for agile specialists to dig them out of a hole. But not much has changed over the last few years. Leaders don't know their purpose, transformations keep failing (be that agile, digital or business transformation) and millions are being wasted by some of the biggest companies in the world. So, we need a new approach. A simpler approach. What we need is Lighthouse Thinking.

Learning Objectives:

What can our attendees expect to take away from the session?

● Understand the difference between IT agile and Business Agility
● Discover why Business, Agile or Digital transformations fail
● Learn how businesses can remodel their company for success
● And gain an insight into how focusing on your operating model can lead to a successful transformation

Here's some background on our amazing guest speaker for this session:

Fin Goulding has consistently been named as one of the top global CTO/CIO’s year-on-year, who in the past five years, has transformed into a business agility expert having worked for organisations like Visa, RBS, NatWest, HSBC, Aviva and digital startups such as lastminute.com, travelocity.com and paddypower.com.

As well as being a popular keynote speaker and panellist, Fin co-founded the Flow Academy and Enterprise Flow with Haydn in order to help leaders and executives remodel their businesses and deliver successful transformations.

Haydn has a thirty-year background in innovation and transformation, especially in new commercial applications of technology and mobile infrastructure.

Through this extensive engagement with application innovation, he has been able to lead Enterprise Flow’s development of new value discovery tools, refining innovation techniques, ecosystem design and new customer journeys.

A thought leader for several US think tanks, such as nGenera and Gigaom, his work has appeared in the Harvard Business Review, Strategy and Leadership, the Wall St Journal and Forbes.

Haydn and Fin co-authored Flow: A Handbook for Changemakers and 12 Steps to Flow. Their new book Lighthouse Thinking will be published later this Summer.
