PHP Cambridge: PHP Soft Skills: How I beat burnout and imposter syndrome

PLEASE NOTE: We have a new venue for 2020!

Our new venue is the Taylor Vinters office in Cambridge. It is easily accessible from the A14 and is an 18m walk (0.9 mile) from Cambridge North station.

We welcome David Thorne to kick off our re-launch of PHP Cambridge for 2020! As a regular attendee, David may be a familiar face for some of you and we are very pleased he has agreed to give this talk, which he originally gave at DrupalCon 2019

In his words: "This talk aims to demonstrate how I as a developer came back from severe burnout, caused by a combination of imposter syndrome, depression and other health issues to rebuild myself as a developer and a person. In the process I also learned to love developing,
and to a degree myself again."

David is a PHP developer; specialising in Drupal for over 10 years. He contracts, mostly with Irish clients working on multilingual projects.
