Queer Code Scotland is a new meetup bringing together LGBTQ+ people who work in the technology industry, or who are studying to get there.
This month's meetup will follow the guided conversation format, and we will cover topics around being a queer person in the workplace, job hunting, and how employers can improve inclusion. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the conversation guided by a facilitator - more details here:

Code of conduct: https://queer-code.org/coc
Food and drink will be provided. There will be a chance to chat and network before and after the guided conversation. Thanks to CodeClan for hosting us and Arnold Clark for providing the refreshments!
The CodeClan Edinburgh campus has steps-free access, with it all being on ground level. An accessible toilet is on the ground level. It has both grab rails, cord alarms and lowered sinks. If you have any questions about the format of the event or accessibility, please contact the venue 0131 290 2600.

A meetup to help underrepresented people to learn to code in a safe and inclusive environment. At our workshops students can either work alone on tutorials or be paired up with more experienced developers to provide coaching and support.
Our normal format is 30 minutes of socialising with food and drink, followed by coding.
We welcome students from any underrepresented group to come along, whether you want to learn the basics, if you have a goal to become a full time developer, or if you just want to have fun trying out a new skill.
We also welcome developers (from any background) who want to support the growth of a diverse tech community by volunteering as coaches. Coaches encourage students, help them understand programming concepts and share their experience and knowledge.
