Aim for Agility!

This month we will be sponsored and hosted by FanDuel at their premises on the Quarter Mile.

• Increase in automation
• 25% increase in SLA, focus on innovation, induction of relevant tools and saved significant delivery costs
• Industry award for ‘Best Agile Project’

Along with these benefits, there has been great team ethos, improved customer experience, better skills within the team which has led to a close knit team which is capable of delivering high quality change within reduced timelines and costs.

Hilary cut her teeth in product working with dozens of startups from the University of Edinburgh to test their value propositions and find their first customers. In 2013 she moved to Skyscanner, one of the world's largest travel search sites. She is now product manager for the Flights Group, the company's largest business vertical, with more than 50 million users per month globally.

Chris is the designer & founder of Niice, a creative collaboration platform that's used by teams like Nike, Sony and TIME. Hailing from Belfast, in the past he's helped design prettier buttons for companies like Monotype, Swrve and the EU.

Currently Product Design Director at FanDuel based in Edinburgh, Chris has worked for both agencies and product focused companies alike. Having meddled in front-end development, design, and everything in-between. He’ll talk about FanDuel's quest for a multi-platform design system and the importance of designing within your means.

Wojtek Kutyla
UX for Anthropocene, aka Restarting Digital Evolution

Currently embarking on the new career for teaching service design, until now Wojtek worked as a consultant and lead user experience designer at award-winning agencies. He’s been instrumental in planning and executing research methodologies on multiple large digital transformation projects for the Scottish Government, RBS, Standard Life, BT, and others. Wojtek’s main professional interests lay in societal and cultural impact of digital design.
