Our meets are informal and friendly. We encourage anyone with the smallest shred of interest in learning to experienced developers, and everyone in between to come along to our meets or hang out in our Facebook group or Slack.

We love Sharing resources, be it tutorials, events, jobs...

The format at meets is casual with no set time that members have to stay but we try to ensure that at least one core member has arrived for 6.30 and claimed one of the brightly coloured study pods on the ground floor.

Members can work on tutorials/projects, get/give advice, chat ... You can even plug your earphones in if you want some peace to focus. Members can be as productive or non-productive as they want, but you will need a laptop if you want to code.

We occasionally venture out to other tech meets (our so called "group outings" simply because there's lots of good events on and we want to go to some too). Check out our facebook page or slack (links to both on our website) for updates.

There are vending machines and a water cooler(which you need your own bottle for) in the Saltire Center, if you want hot food, there's a Greggs in Buchanan Bus Station across the road from the University, and you can eat/drink while at the Collective.
