Skyscanner are kindly hosting this event in the Cusco Seminar Room on the 4th floor of their Glasgow office on St Vincent Street.
This evening we’re looking at the DuckDuckHack Programming Mission, how we’re improving the quality of DuckDuckGo’s results for developers, and how you can contribute answers for your favourite language or framework.
Please bring a laptop if you have one, if you don't we'll pair you up with someone who does. There will be free beer and pizza!
Come along and take part in the second global Quack and Hack on Saturday 30th January, a day of hacking, free pizza and creating Instant Answers to improve DuckDuckGo's search results for everyone!
Don't worry if you don't have any experience of working on DuckDuckGo or have never contributed to an open source project before, help will be available and we'll have fun working it out together.
It would be best if you can bring a laptop along to work on, but let us know if you can't and we can see if we can sort something out.
You can read more about the global event at https://duck.co/blog/post/230/global-quack-hack-2
If you can let us know if you're interested so we have a rough idea of numbers that would be fab. You can RSVP through Meetup.

Quack & Hacks are a meetup for developers interested in contributing to the DuckDuckGo search engine. The open source platform (duckduckhack.com) allows anyone to create, "Instant Answers" --results that help answer a search in few or zero clicks. We bring together Glasgow's developer community to learn about how to improve results for searches you care about! Check out a few Instant Answers built by the community in the past and join us to make more:
