We are delighted to invite you to an evening with stand-out leaders to learn more about the potential of a career in technology, whether you’re just starting out or feel like you’ve been around for a long time, and to offer you the opportunity to meet others across the industry.
The evening will start at 6pm with a brief welcome immediately followed by Audrey McIntosh, whose website describes her as “ultra-runner, race director, motivational speaker, writer, blogger, business consultant, wife, mother”. Audrey will speak with us about her highs and lows, successes and achievements, and how to juggle it all. http://www.audreymcintosh.co.uk/
Jean Kerr, Head of EMEA HR Talent at Cisco, will then share with us her experiences of the barriers to success in technology and leadership and how to overcome them. https://ibm.biz/jeankerr
To conclude the more formal part of the agenda, Sharon Moore—IBM CTO for Digital Engagement and BCSWomen Committee member—will join Audrey and Jean in a panel session for further questions from the audience until 8.15pm.
This will then be followed by a networking opportunity, with a formal close of 9pm.
This event is free of charge. Refreshments will be provided.
Please note that this event it is open to all, men and women, BCS and non-BCS, students, academics, entrepreneurs, folk from corporates, folk from the public sector, folk from the third sector, and so on...
