Laurence Kirk will talk about one of the rare real applications of Blockchain technology. The talk will explain a pilot project undertaken with Porsche to create blockchain nodes within their vehicles in order to control access to their cars. Laurence Kirk will explain the technical challenges Extropy faced and how Extropy developed a new consensus mechanism for Ethereum to solve them.
Laurence Kirk is CEO and Senior Blockchain Engineer of Extropy a decentralised system and cryptography consultancy based in Oxford.
