Another event supported by the League of Entrepreneurs (LoE) in the spirit of Global Entrepreneurship week, although a little without, is an event about the world superpower of China. LoE is a global network of metric-driven, lean methodology-oriented, technology startup professionals who want to learn collaboratively in order to have better ventures that grow and globalize faster. Tonight's event is hosted by the Asia-Scotland Institute Event and entitled "George Magnus - "Red Flags: Why Xi Jinping’s China is in Jeopardy".
What does this mean for the prospects of technology and entrepreneurs who build and sell it?

"George Magnus has occupied a front-row seat as events have challenged governments, economies and financial systems around the world since the Great Financial Crisis in 2008. He is widely credited with having identified the trigger points leading to the crisis and with helping us to understand its lingering consequences.
Once the Chief Economist of UBS, George now works as an independent economist, author and speaker. His views and opinions appear regularly in the written and social media, radio and TV. He is the author of The Age of Aging (2008) which assesses one of our leading contemporary economic and social challenges, and of Uprising: will emerging markets shape or shake the world economy? (2011), which considers the rise of and prospects for emerging markets, especially China.
“Red Flags: Why Xi’s China is in Jeopardy is the latest book from George Magnus. In Red Flags, George considers the threats to China’s continued economic rise, but specifically in the context of the governance system under President Xi Jinping. China, as is well known, has become a large and confident power both at home and abroad, and while its core economic challenges are not unique, they are many, and have gathered at a critical moment in China’s development.”

About League of Entrepreneurs
The League of Entrepreneurs (LoE) is a virtual, global network of technology entrepreneurs that shares and communicates on the Slack platform. We believe in data, metrics, lean methodologies, and scientific, disciplined approach to building new global technology ventures rapidly. We hold monthly meetings in Edinburgh, and are strong supporters of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), hosting and supporting numerous events in Edinburgh and Glasgow during the month of November. We also throw the annual Startups Christmas party for startup professionals, friends and family in Edinburgh, and invite those from all over Scotland to attend. We are currently growing our global network virtually, as well as seeking partners for local chapters around the world.
